4 stitches

Raymond got 4 stitches today :( Poor guy! He was rocking on his little rocking chair and watching a movie when he tipped it over and hit his face on the TV stand. I wasn't even sure if I should go to urgent care or not as I couldn't tell how bad it was. Obviously, glad we went in! I'm so bad about knowing when to go or not. Guess I need to err on the side of caution and go when in doubt.
He cried and struggled when they did the stitches, but they had numbed the area first and then put him in a 'papoose' so his hands and feet were held down. After it was all done, the nurse brought him 4 stickers (all 'boy' stickers) and he was in a good mood from there on. He immediately offered to give the Spiderman one to his dad. Such a trooper!

Ah, poor kiddo! So, did you have to run out with all the kids in tow to urgent care? I know, it' hard to know when to let things heal on their own or have them looked at. Later on I'm taking Grammy to the doc to have him look at a finger that is red and puffy and not healing. Also, he has wart, so I hope to have both those fingers taken care of today. But, I let his red finger go for a while and we just decided yesterday that it looks infected and not healing at all.

Hey, I met a mama the other day (30yr old daughter of Cannery Row (band) aquantince) who has a little 3yr old guy named Raymond, too! Cool!

Welcome to the world of BOYS!
I showed Jake and Mathias the picture and they were almost thrilled(apparently you're not a
'real' boy until you've had stitches).
So you can give
"cute 'lil Raymond John John John"
a high-five from them and a Big
Hug from me.

Love you guys!

Raymond looks like a real tough guy in that picture. Funny how stickers can cheer those little ones up.

Here's our stitches sagas: Amber and Nick bothed missed out on stitches, so Katie went ahead and had three sets. Her first set was right about where Ray's is...she tipped on the bench by the computer and hit the edge of the desk (3 stitches). The next set came in the middle of a snowstorm while we were staying at the timeshare in Brainerd-six stitches in the middle of the forehead. The other set was near the other eye...a little friendly push...okay, not so friendly...from a sibling, and another three stitches.

OUCH!

No idea how both became "bothed," Isn't it funny how you can proofread before publishing, only to find the error after the comment is published?
